Noise Surface

since 2025

The realm of noise begins where noise ends. The sensor image passes through the devices on which we view images today. What remains of it is what we see.

About the Series

A digital image is not a recording, but a chain of translations. The sensor image passes through several devices, and each station imprints its own structure until the grid and noise can no longer be separated. It all began with a broken LCD, photographed in passing. Image as a layer. Image as a path. Image as a condition.

"The image appears as a temporary stabilization within a field of differences."
