Hosting and Server Log Files
This website is operated by Hostinger International Ltd., 61 Lordou Vironos Street, 6023 Larnaca, Cyprus. When you visit the website, your browser automatically transmits technical information that is stored in server log files: IP address, date and time of access, page accessed, referrer URL, browser type, and operating system.
This data is necessary for the secure and stable operation of the website and is not combined with any other data. The legal basis is the legitimate interest in the secure operation of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). A contract for data processing has been entered into with the hosting provider in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR. The log files are stored only for a limited period of time and are then deleted.
Cookies and Local Storage
Technically necessary cookies are set without consent because the website does not function properly without them (Section 165(3) of the German Telecommunications Act (TKG) 2021, Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR). These include cookies that save your language selection (German or English).
Your selection in the cookie notice is stored in your browser’s local storage under the name “hk_consent” for 12 months so that the notice does not appear every time you visit the page. This information does not leave your browser.
All other cookies will not be set until you click “Accept” in the cookie notice.
Google Analytics
With your consent, this website uses Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”). Google Analytics helps us understand how visitors use the website, such as which pages they visit and how long they stay on them. This analysis is used to improve the website.
This process sets cookies (e.g., “_ga” and “_ga_*,” which are stored for up to 2 years) and transmits information about your usage to Google, such as the pages you visited, the duration of your visit, your approximate location, your device, and your browser. Google Analytics 4 does not store full IP addresses. The collected data is automatically deleted after 14 months.
It cannot be ruled out that data may be transferred to Google LLC in the United States. Google is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, for which the European Commission has issued an adequacy decision (Art. 45 of the GDPR).
The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 165(3) TKG 2021). Google Analytics will not be loaded without your consent. You can revoke your consent at any time with future effect: Change cookie settings.

Contact Us by Email
When you send me an email, your information (email address, name, and message content) will be stored to process your inquiry. The legal basis for this is the response to your inquiry or the initiation of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) of the GDPR). The data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer needed and there are no legal retention requirements.
Links to Instagram
This website contains a simple link to my Instagram profile. No content from Instagram is embedded, and no data is transmitted to Instagram unless you click the link. Once you click the link, the privacy policy of Meta Platforms Ireland Limited applies.
