The closer you get, the more the image breaks down into individual dots of color.
"Entfaltung" shows images without an exterior. No subject, nothing in front of the camera. What appears in the darkness carries within it the history of the sensor—and perhaps also the traces of the images it once captured. What is visible is not what the camera sees, but what has been inscribed within it.
